PSP has much more variety in genres than 3DS. But hey if we want to talk old ports. PSP has Dreamcast ports & other Saturn ports. PS1 ports. PS2 ports that appeal me a lot more. 3DS has the least variation of any handheld I ever owned.  Where Switch is maybe Nintendo's best. Switch has the kind of stuff I mentioned and more. 3DS is a lame duck.

Bold: the Qol and the gameplay function are great, the fans hated it mostly due to the peace ending since it's too much like a Persona game, but they can choose another route, the anarchy ending is very suitable for a SMT game. Did you even play it?

Bold 2: yeah, but what about Devil Survivor 1+2 and Strange Journey? Because DS already has them? I can say that about Persona 4 on ps2 too.

Bold 3: 3ds has the best Tales on portable: Tales of The Abyss, and some great action rpgs: Fantasy Life, Ever Oasis, Rune Factory 4.

Bold 4: 3ds has some great Inti Creates games instead.

Bold 8: Irony, i can point out some genres on 3ds that psp lacked.

Bold 9: And 3ds has some ps2, DS, Wii and Wii U ports, but this is more on personal taste, so i will leave it at that.

Neither really have a library geared for my personal tastes, but form factor alone puts PSP ahead in terms of hardware for me. Glasses-free 3D was a cool novelty, but Sony's system is just so much more comfortable to hold, along with have a bigger and higher res screen. I'm glad with the Switch Nintendo took cues from Sony's portables in terms of hardware.

Hardware sales, sure. Software sales, no. 3ds has c-stick, zl/zr buttons so no, psp is not a better portable. OK, bye.

3DS pretty easily. The PSP was a Square Enix and PS1 Classics portable for me. The hardware quality of the PSP left a bit to be desired as well, it's the only handheld I've ever owned where some of the buttons just stopped working.
