Forums - Sales Discussion - Activision transfers Vicarious Visions (Crash/Tony Hawk) to Blizzard, will now focus on Blizzard IP's

Vicarious Visions did well with Crash and Tony Hawk. Of course the original games were already stellar to begin with. It's strange how Activision and Blizzard operate so separately. I guess it works for them though.

That was Vicarious. So yeah, Tony Hawk is probably dead now, even if Acti does a new one it will probably suck like Tony Hawk 5 did.

OR... hear me out... Tony Hawk is a guest hero in Overwatch 2, and then they DO make THPS6 and we get Winston on a skateboard! :o

Skill 1 - His skateboard can be thrown to block incoming attacks such as widow sniper shots.

Skill 2 - He rolls around at boosted Lucio speed when he hasn't thrown skateboard. He can either cheer teammates on and boost their damage or insult enemies with sick 90's burns such as "Talk to the Hand!" and "As if!" And cause them to have lower attack damage.

Skill 3 - Passive Skill. Anytime you hit someone while skating around you damage them. You have a 1/3 chance of knocking someone over upon contact.

Skill 4 - He does a 900 into the sun, causing blindness for every member on the opponent team for 5 seconds.

Blizzard Team 1 got fired last fall it seems this was the team responsible for SCR, SC2, WC3R and such but in recent years those game fell well short of what was expected and some like SC2 are in a bad state right now leading to the team being shelved, VV are basically their replacements.

Will this affect Crash or Spyro in any way?

not a good news
