No Silksong, and it ended with Among us...

I don't really care about Among Us. Only know it through memes. Tunche looks cool though. Nice to see representation of indigenous South Americans in gaming. :)

Among us is worth a go. It's simple but effective. Although matches can be a bit hit or miss at times.

Also it's free on mobile

Cyber-Shadow and Hoa are the only games I'm really interested in. I liked Spelunky for what it was but probably won't buy it again. :/

I just saw the Direct. A very weak one, but it was an indie one, they couldn't really show anything big anyway.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'm glad to see something from Yacht Club Games that's brand new instead of just more Shovel Knight.

I usually have at least one, and many times multiple games during one of these Indie Showcases that I am excited about. I got nothing this time. Oh well, it was bound to happen sometime I suppose. Back to work!

I also normally like a few of the titles shown, and it fell flat this time around.

Maybe this one from the sizzle reel might be okey,
an indie Uncharted or like a Tintin adventure kind of game.

Although something is off, looks like it is the animations.

EDIT: And this other one that just popped up in the youtube channel.
Don't remember seeing it, might have been distracted at the time.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Isn’t it pronounced Gnosia rather than Gagnosia? =)
Kind of like the word Gnosis and Gnostic.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I think the main reason this direct happened in December was to announce Among Us. There were some other good reveals too, but I think they could have waited until January for everything else.

Aside: Regardless of what the Game Awards say there are only two games that were real contenders for Game of the Year: Animal Crossing and Among Us. Those were the two games that mass numbers of people were playing this year.

Surprising to see a Nindie this late in the year, maybe it will include extra Christmas sales?

An eShop Christmas sale is bound to happen; but that would most likely be for next week, right?

I was wrong, they started already this week. @Darwinianevolution

Yep, I saw it as well. Though to be fair I was expecting better deals, nothing really peaked my interest this year. Hoping the Steam Sales are better.
