That might be true, but GoldenEye had the Golden Gun.

Turok had the Cerebral Bore... It was always satisfying firing a homing projectile that would bore into the skull of your enemies and detonating when it reaches the brain.

Yeah. Maybe in the new Perfect Dark they'll include the Golden Gun as a witty nod to GoldenEye, which the original Perfect Dark was built from.

Hope so. But there might be licensing issues involved... Which is also the reason why the remaster was never included in RARE Replay.

Perfect Dark was basically the spiritual successor to GoldenEye as, even used the same game engine... I think at that time the James Bond license had transferred over to EA before later going to Activision which is why we got Perfect Dark. (Someone correct me if I am wrong, my memory is hazy on stuff that happened 20~ years ago.)

I only played the N64 Version of Perfect Dark , our N64 now is owned by older sister. Man i wish the Farsight Gun can return.

It probably will. Expect it to change as controllers have or be exceptionally..... Rare...

Would be to op with a modern controller, let alone mouse and keyboard.

Pretty correct from what i know.

Rare was in a bidding war with EA to obtain the license after Golden Eyes success, and lost to EA. Rare went on to create there own Stealth Agent game instead. PD was the spiritual successor to Golden Eye.

EA went on to make, i think Tomorrow Never Dies and a Dream Cast Bond game (cant remember the name) than Activision obtain the license etc.

I’m fairly certain the original MP had a golden falcon.

(nm I see someone allready said this)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Wasn't there also a Golden Dragon gun?

Also, sorry if I already asked this, but any idea who's doing the music for the new Perfect Dark?

No idea, however true gamers would know that PD has some of the best music in gaming. Like the new Battletoad game, it hit its music right out the park, and same with Killer Instinct, most Rare games had sound tracks that blew the doors right off. The sound track alone for this new PD entry is very exciting just in itself.
