With continued supply problems, its hard for me to see it getting to 10mm. I think without those constraints, X/S might get to 11 or 12 million. But, they can't sell units that don't exist. As for making a prediction, I don't really know how to do that with the current unknowns about supply. I'll pull something out my ass though and say 9 million units.

It was a misunderstanding.

With the latest data (140k) and if it keeps selling 140-150k until the holidays it can indeed sell 10 million, it all depends on stock.

I've been looking at Xbox One 2015 data; from October 10, 2015 to the end of 2015, it sold a total of 4,614,502 consoles. If Series sells the exact same amount in the same period of 2021, it will have sold a total of 9,35 million consoles in 2021. Since Series 2021 is ahead of Xbox One 2015 (4,61M vs 3,65M at this point in the year) and there is no reason to think it might lower its advantage much, I think Series should reach 10 million units sold this year.

Well I honestly thought it would be more like 6 to 7 million last year.
And by the way, I'm not the one who voted for it.

So, according to VGC they sold 8,753,363. So the 7.5M-10M category.
