Yeah that IP had/has so much potential.  Back in the day, it was one of my favorite games to play even outside of shooters.  I would buy a new entry up without a second thought!

Another one of those games I always intended to buy but somehow never got my hands on! I'm sure it's super outdated, now.

On another note, I'm shocked at the love that Tomb Raider is getting in the comments. I love those games so much! Purchased 2013 on Xbox, PS3, XBO, and PS4 (my first PS4 game, actually) and I still play it to this day. 

Gears getting the votes is a pleasant surprise, as well. You guys are alright with me.

Now, back to "The Line".

To be honest, when I made the thread I was only thinking of 3D TPS games.

I have enjoyed a fair few 2D ones in my time though, such as R-Type, Metal Slug, Contra, Gradius, Twinbee, etc.

Finished Spec Ops: The Line, yesterday. Good game. Not great. Good, though. The choices we get to make were cool. A decent level of variety. Graphics and sound were a little under par. Gameplay was great but not consistently reliable. I had fun with it. Definitely worth playing, even 8 years later.
