I wasn't able to secure a pre-order so will probably wait for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits to come out before I jump in. Nothing else really interests me at the moment. The heavy censorship going on has me a bit worried and is shitty. What they did to Cyberpunk for Japanese gamers has me steamed. If the censorship issue is going to be an on-going theme then I may just have to miss out on a few games this generation.

I didn't play it because I already had enough of everything I've seen in trailers and gameplay videos. There is not a single good thing I have ever seen of the game.

For me to buy a game on a console and overlook all of the terrible console restrictions it has to be great.

why, though? If you want boobs, pornhub is that way. I don't see how removing censorship makes the games better. Like, seriously, how desperate are you for hardcore content that you'd chose not to buy a game over buying a minorly censored version?

youtube has it at almost 6 hours of cutscenes. Thats a lot, right?

I didn't enjoy the first God of war on PS4 so that's not a big exclusive to me and Miles morales and Horizon are both coming to PS4. PS5 is an exclusive console there just no reason to get it in the first few years of release. It's not like you are missing out on some amazing multiplayer content.

I will be very surprised if God of War turns out to be a 2021 game, I think it's more deceptive marketing from Sony. Sony knows there no consequence for lying about their release date and they benefit from the hype it creates when the game gets announced.

Took me 70 hours to beat. So I guess more like 10% cutscenes.

I can assure you that this isn't some conspiracy. If it's later, it's because they delayed it to polish and refine it, not because they used some clever yet deceptive marketing strategy to lie and trick people into...buying a console that's probably gonna remain sold out and hard to get for its first year on the market. 

Is there a chance they're being disingenuous? Sure there is. But to assume they're just lying to push sales on a console that's gonna be supply-constrained already would just be bad mojo for them and bad marketing. If it's delayed, it's not a conspiracy, it's in line with so many other games that have been delayed for polish over the last 5-10 years. That's how media works. sometimes. Most of the time. 

did you get the platinum trophy? Took me about 100 hours to get 100% on that game, so I'd still say it's about 5-6%. Didn't feel that much, though. And the cutscenes that ARE in the game are interwoven into the gameplay so flawlessly that it doesn't even feel like cutscenes half the time. a lot of the cutscenes still allow you to control your character while other characters dump exposition on you. Very little of the game is completely without your input. 

Yeah, I didn't get the plat trophy. If we include all of the game's content together it goes a little past my 70 hour mark to something like 80 or 90. I think we have to keep in mind that a lot of trophy hunting is filler though. That's why I wouldn't exactly call it a full 100 hours of content, even with a plat trophy.

On paper, I agree it's an amazing first-year lineup of games. No doubt it would be one of Sony's best 1st party years ever if every game manages to release in 2021.
