I can live without Fallout - Fallout 4 is the only one in that series I actually liked, the rest were too clunky for me (Good games but not for me) - but Elder Scrolls is a game that MUST come out for PS5. (not really, I just really hope so). Skyrim is one of my top-10 games of all time, over 1200 hours between all systems.

Yeah, Skyrim or Elder Scroll series is the one that i am afraid to lose as well. I can live without Fallout and the rest, but Skyrim is very big for me.  I might playing it on pC (even tho i will not upgrade for a couple year down the road )

I get the impression that Elder Scrolls VI will be multiplatform but everything beyond that will be Xbox/PC only.

This is why I kinda sorta wish Microsoft would just bail on console manufacture. Imagine how much more money they'd make if they...offered services on PC and PS5? No hardware manufacture, just services. They have a handful of good IP and Bethesda's additions are a handful more, but it's not enough to justify a console purchase in my opinion.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

As long as elder scroll 6 gets released on ps5 I am good. I dont care about their other ips. And from the look of it, we might see the next elder scroll on ps6.

So Microsoft are about to release a timed exclusive on PS5 in the form of deathloop. Nice!

Lmao. That's a great point. The deal has been signed.

This is indeed hilarious :)

And this right here folks... is what you all should have really been afraid of when MS started their whole gamepas thing.

This is how you make a service like that viable. You acquire studios. An what would this mak sony do in turn? They would acquire some studies of their own to.

This is going to result in heavy consolidation.Lol... pro-consumer. How people didn't see stuff like this coming is beyond me.

MS is competing the only way they can, just simply buying the market lol.

Who’s afraid? I’m pretty happy. This is what happens when legions of haters poke fun at a trillion dollar company. If you gotta change your reputation, you gotta go BIG.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

LOL so now we are saying that when Sony strikes these deals, money isn’t involved. They are just “leveraging their user base advantage”. No way.

Anyways, I still don’t believe this is true. What a massive deal.

Me: man Deathloop looks great, wonder how long Sony paid to keep it off of Xbox

Papa Phil: hold my beer

I'm not sure why people think it'd be better if MS hold these exclusively to just Xbox/PC, Minecraft and Ori have shown that they make more by selling it on as many plats as possible. Gamepass however will be Xbox/PC only, so I can definitely see some select titles being made exclusive to that.

Either way, this isn't just some megaton, this is a gigaton of epic proportions, because Zeni is meant to be the parent company of bethesda, and well, MS just bought out not only a publisher/dev studio, but it's parent company too. This is what a Trillion dollar company can do with such power.

Years of claiming "MS has no exclusives" has pretty much led us to this moment. This is what happens when you keep that up for so long, and I think Sony is going to have to answer to this sooner, rather than later. Nintendo's more or less going to be fine, since MS and Ninty are dandy with each other.

So internet forums caused MS to make a $7.5 billion dollar acquisition? Amazing.

Why would Sony react to this?

Microsoft as always wanted to get JRPG on their platform and in the end, they decide screw it let's just dominate in the WRPG market.

I think Gamepass is just the thing Fallout 76 needed to bring it back in the limelight. Fallout 76 was a broken game but it has a good core and lots of potential if you support it with continuous improvement.

Microsoft has that kind of money to throw around. Damn.

Agree, purchasing 8 studios only to winning console wars is probably not what Microsoft looking for. I suspect that Game Pass is their primary reason . I can see big IP that already has name will stay as multplat. I think What Microsoft looking is more of a big picture. They want to win subscription model not console competition

Can't wait for the halo skins in doom and vice versa
