Do people believe that the Switch is a "kiddie" console or that it is being purchased mostly by children? Just trying to get a sense of the purpose of this thread.

My guess is 65% to 75%. I have little to base that on though. I'd assume that the percentage is similar for XBone and PS4. The casual gamer kid plays on their phone. The hardcore gamers kid is just as likely to push mom and dad for one of those systems as for the Switch.
That depends. I bought it, played for 2 yrs and now am waiting for the next game. Nothing that interesting for me has come out since smash. Do i count as a switch player? If so i go %60. If i dont maybe 30%? Basing it on pure speculation and 0 research tho.

I meant 60-80% of Switches are played by adults
But I will say 80-100% of Switches are bought by adults? lol
Seems reasonable first adopters are older by average
So > 60%... I guess it's time for that high-end switch console for affluent nerds
