I normally say "Central and Eastern Europe" when talking about PS4 expansion.  The one time I say only "Eastern Europe" people think I'm claiming cavemen live there.

Excellent numbers for the switch, AC + pandemic really helped the system selling astronomical numbers for 2020.

PS4 is doing very good numbers for its age, price ($299/399) and is supply constrained, as an example, PS3 did around 88k in the same week back in 2013 at $269/299.

Decent numbers for Xone but now that Xone X and SAD editions are discontinued, numbers will decrease further.

3DS is mostly dead but doing an average of 4-5k weekly.

The console war is over :D

But yeah the Switch has free reign for now. Hoping to see a 400K week.

Switch is 1 man carrying the Japanese market right now. Those PS4 sales are a joke.

Xbone back to pre-pandemic numbers.

PS4 getting more than half of all its sales just from Europe.

This week, Nintendo has 99% market share in Japan.

Ninety...Nine...Percent...

Some YoY hardware data for Europe from a GSD presentation.  Gives 19 > 20 % changes before/after COVID lockdowns.  Obviously their weeks and scope (didn't see what markets this includes) may not necessarily line-up with VGC, but could be useful.

Impressive Switch sales for this time around. We rarely see console do above 300k in the summer, even more when there is so little communication and games.
It def can keep going for several more weeks since Japan still have lottery, and it is still heavily constrained in NA. In Canada i see it going up the charts on amazon but never in stock.. so i guess shipments are getting bigger but still not close to being enough.

NS still excellent and PS4 very good, but the Summer slump had to come, sooner or later.
