It's only a question of perception honestly. This is obviously something that was built and will look similar to the PS4 entry, so announcing 4k 60fps as a performance mode just seems a bit off. Maybe they should have announced that that is the default option to play the game in their opinion?

I'm pretty sure ray tracing is why the 'quality' mode will be 30fps. I doubt you'll be seeing any in the 60fps mode.

No, it shouldn't, a lot of performance cost for a very big number of games that won't benefit from it.

Glad they are giving the option to those that prefer 60fps. I will continue to choose Fidelity over Frame Rate when given the choice, as I have on PC, PS4 Pro, and XBO X.

That’s great news for you guys. Ironically this may be due to all the teasing Xbox gamers been doing on twitter, where PS fans largely defended 30fps. Glad it worked out regardless.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Yep, I don't plan on use then but a lot of people would like it.
