Honorable mention goes to the Dynasty Warriors games, which I do like, but are nowhere nearly as good as either Hyrule Warriors or Dynasty Tactics.

The Dynasty Warriors series itself is a spin-off of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series though (which if you like Dynasty Tactics you should totally check out!). So that would be a spin-off of a spin-off?

I wasn't sure if Dynasty Warriors was a spinoff or if they were just drawing on the same period of history.

I did play Romance of the Three Kingdoms back on the NES, and I believe it was actually a spinoff of Nobunaga's Ambition.  In that case Dynasty Tactics would be a spinoff of a spinoff of a spinoff.

Mario Kart 8. After Galaxy I've disliked all the main Mario games up to Odyssey, but I do love me some Mario Kart.

I enjoy Dragon Quest Heros, Hyrule Warriors, and Fire Emblem Warriors a lot. I will probably also really enjoy P5S when it comes to the west as well.

I do not like Dynasty Warriors however. I used to co op DW2 on PS2 with a friend in high school, but after that I could never get into them again. And yes I have tried, but they always felt bland compared to the spin offs.

I do not dislike Might & Magic RPGs, I just never cared enough about the series to play one of them.
I do not dislike Halo, but I don‘t play shooters.

I love Heroes of Might & Magic 3.
I enjoyed Halo Wars.

I never got into Minecraft but I enjoyed Minecraft: Story Mode (both seasons) and Minecraft Dungeons.

I don't think I would classify any of the Mario games as spin-off, they just use the same chars.

Not unusual to see spin-off of spin-off.

There was also Kessen but I'm not sure how the 3 slot together

I love Final Fantasy Tactics and its sequel way more than the mainline Final Fantasy games.
