DQ heroes II but this was before I enjoyed DQXI.

The Dynasty Warriors series itself is a spin-off of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series though (which if you like Dynasty Tactics you should totally check out!). So that would be a spin-off of a spin-off? |
Not unusual to see spin-off of spin-off.

Although if you do count it then that. Not that I dislike SMT, I've just never played it (and never will unless it starts releasing on PS/PC). |
They share the same demons. Jack Frost is in them and some entires let you recruit demons in the part like SMT. Older Persona dungeons are similar. Until Persona 5 they were called Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Metal gear rising, yep, me too
My girlfriend enjoys a lot pikmin adventure, of the nintendo land. But she hated pikmin.

Ahh, nice example. I wasn't really coming up with anything, but in this same respect, I don't care for sports games but I very much enjoyed and played a lot of the NBA Street games (or at least the PS2 versions, didn't play the others).

I wasn't sure if Dynasty Warriors was a spinoff or if they were just drawing on the same period of history.
I did play Romance of the Three Kingdoms back on the NES, and I believe it was actually a spinoff of Nobunaga's Ambition. In that case Dynasty Tactics would be a spinoff of a spinoff of a spinoff.
Mario Kart 8. After Galaxy I've disliked all the main Mario games up to Odyssey, but I do love me some Mario Kart.
I enjoy Dragon Quest Heros, Hyrule Warriors, and Fire Emblem Warriors a lot. I will probably also really enjoy P5S when it comes to the west as well.
I do not like Dynasty Warriors however. I used to co op DW2 on PS2 with a friend in high school, but after that I could never get into them again. And yes I have tried, but they always felt bland compared to the spin offs.
I do not dislike Might & Magic RPGs, I just never cared enough about the series to play one of them.
I do not dislike Halo, but I don‘t play shooters.
I love Heroes of Might & Magic 3.
I enjoyed Halo Wars.
