Sony/MS haven't remotely come close to challenging Nintendo in their IPs. If they had, I wouldn't have made this thread.

They'll do well but 'content is King' and just how Disney will be able to swallow up Netflix, nintendo will swallow up MS (gaming).

Gamers should be happy. Why don't you want Nintendo running the industry they deserve to own instead of some no talent conglomerate?

You really did not think this through. If content is king in the context of the entertainment industry than Sony far surpasses Nintendo. Sony is one of the Top 3 Music Companies, Top 5 Movie Studios, and has a very profitable TV content division. This is all in addition to their games. The sheer amount of content and IP in Sony's portfolio is staggering.

Please explain how music, movies, and television don't count as "entertainment" even though you said gaming belongs to the entertainment industry?

You're not serious.

OK, Sony is great at music and film. As true as that may be, they don't come close to Nintendo and until someone makes the 'one ring to rule them all' device that includes Nintendo games, they aren't gonna win.

Why should they when they can do it from their own platform like Disney did after their 3rd party tryout?

Tech evolves, content is king.
