...Good for you, I guess... ? Also Solar Ash was already announced in 2019, so I didn't feel the need to put it in the same list as the others.

I didn't know about that. Still, I don't care about... whathever it is you are trying to do here. I'm not about where you can play this games. I just want to give them more attention, because I think they were overshadowed by the big guns. You saw another game on the presentation I didn't mention? Great, put it here. I didn't put every game because not every game caught my attention like the ones on the OP.

What I don't understand is what is going on about that attitude of yours. It looks like you are trying to reproach me some things that were never the intentions of this thread. Like I if did something wrong.

They dont look indie anymore.
They look like decent budget, proper games.

These arnt small 2D quickly made projects that cost peanuts to make.
I think their more "A or AA" sized games.

Well, to me "indies" don't have to be small or low budget. Just... Independent?

Although I agree that there ones right here are really something about your average indie game...

Maybe thats just me, I think Indie = cheap 2D spirit sidescroller type games.
Usually horribly hard platformers, so your in a cycle of repreating tries to get through levels.
That way they dont have to make as many levels.

Maybe because you keep contradicting yourself?

"I just want to give them more attention..." Would letting people know they're on other platforms not help give them more attention? The way you've titled this thread can already lead to an easy misunderstanding, and then you compound it by putting this thread in Sony discussion, rather than a general gaming discussion. Is that helping them get more attention?

"I didn't put every game because not every game caught my attention like the ones on the OP." Yeah, that's not what you said the first time. Also, if it's about giving them more attention, why not at least add games others found interesting? Are you saying no one else found Solar Ash interesting?

"You saw another game on the presentation I didn't mention? Great, put it here." Yeah, that's what I did, and you chose to make some asinine comment about it already being announced.

It is true that there are many indie games that match that definition. However, not all of them are like that. You have games like Pillars of Eternity, No Man's Sky, The Witness, Divinity: Original Sin, Superhot, The Stantley Parable, Little Nightmares, INSIDE or What Remains of Edith Finch to name a few.

Even if we are talking about 2D Sprite sidescroller, you have some of the best in that category in the indie landscape like Shovel Knight, Cuphead, Hollow Knight, Katana Zero...

The first point is not a contradiction. The games were shown on the PS5 presentation, and they were overshadowed by Sony's big games. I made the thread on the Sony forum. End of the story. If Nintendo had a Nintendo Direct and they showed some games that, while available on other platforms, are a big part of the presentation, I wouldn't see any problem in doing a Nintendo discussion about them. As far as I'm concearned, you are being nitpicking on this for whathever reason. You say it's because I contradict myself, but you started this passive-agressive attitude since your first post here.

I'll give you that I contradicted myself with Solar Ash. I was trying to put an end to your passive-agressive attitude and the first thing that came to my mind was going for the "it was announced earlier". Needless to say, I admitted my mistake when you pointed out.

As for why not adding games said by other people... Because I don't want to? Because it's my thread? Whathever the reason behind making it is, if I don't want to edit the OP with whathever game you mention, that's my call. I just wanted to point out the games I found interesting. If you found other games different than mine then by all means, put them here. But don't expect me to do as you wish just because.

It all comes down to your inexplicable nitpicking attitude from the very beginning. "Duh, this games are on other platforms. Also, you didn't mention Solar Ash". So? I just wanted to show them. Also, I didn't mention the creepy Dinosaur Anime thinggy game. I didn't like that one. And apparently neither did you. But wait: you were so upset at me because I wanted to highlight the indie games and I "missed" one. But you are not even bringing up all the indie games I missed, just the one you care about. Woah, that's really discriminatory on your part, especially for someone so concearned with me for not showing all the indie games. Outrageous. Shame on you (no).

I repeat: it's my thread. I will talk about whathever I think I have to. If I don't care about Solar Ash, I'm not gonna put it on the OP just for you, especially if you are gonna be a jerk from minute one. You could have said: "I liked Solar Ash". And I would be like: " Yeah, that one was cool too", even if I'm not interested myself. But no, you had to be arrogant.

I don't have anything else to say to you about this.

Pillars of Eternity, The Witness and Divinity Original Sin are all amasing games imo.
I wouldnt even call the indie games (even if their from indipendent studios) these are like A level games that just happend to be amasing.
(im fond of puzzles & rpgs)

Cuphead is like those "cheap" super difficult indie 2D platformer games, with bullet hells.... but its handcrafted animations are well done.
Obviously theres levels of "how well made is this", and Cuphead is far above most in that genre.

Shovel Knight never personally did anything for me, I view it kinda like them getting lucky, with just above avg efforts.
Never the less, they now have so much money, I wouldnt consider them a struggingly tiny indie dev.

I just found out that Little Devil Inside will also be released later on Switch, not only Xbox.

Kena will be time exclusive not only on console but also on PC (Epic).

Jeez, didn't realise I was being such an arrogant jerk with this post. Next time I visit one of your threads, I'll make an effort not to mention any details people might want to know. Happy?
