Good thing that isn't the topic then, because last I checked the thread was about PS5 getting more 3rd party exclusives than PS4. Fact of the matter is that if a game is on Switch/PS5 but not XSX, it is not a 3rd party PS5 exclusive like SRC claimed. Likewise if a game is on PS5/XSX, guess what...still not a PS5 exclusive.
When you don't even know what the topic is about, you might want to read what the title of the thread is. When determining what a PS5 exclusive is or isn't, it's not an argument to try to isolate it to PS vs XBox.

you are right my good sir. thread has been dead a while I should have read back.
No Matter, argument stands. if you need to add all 3 competitors to play what one has to offer, i would say its still not a valid argument.

The thing is, you don't. Look at what I posted and try again. If you have a XSX/SW combo, you have twice as much. Some people are simply in denial about that fact, and try to twist the facts to equal what they want to believe. The entire premise of what I posted seems to be over your head as well, which is that the Switch ALONE or the XSX ALONE all seem to have their own share of 3rd party exclusive offerings equal to what the PS5 get. Hell if you include indies the Switch ALONE has more.
I fact, here you go....the PS4 has a total of 3076 games. The Switch has a total of 3176 games, and is only halfway through its life cycle. So as you can see, saying you need a XSX, PC, and Switch to match the number of games available is a joke. In fact, since Switch lacks a lot of multiplats, I think that in of itself is proof that there are far more 3rd party exclusives available than the PS4.
The X1 seems to have a total of 2659 games, which is lower than the PS4 but highlights my point about Japanese games. The PS4 had far greater Japanese support than the X1, and by default got a lot of their games as exclusive because of that. But given that the Switch owns Japan now, most of those exclusives are now/will become multiplat via the Switch, which will cut into the total count of 3rd party exclusives for the PS5 overall. And before you even go there, the power game is not really played in Japan outside of SE and Capcom. Throw in the fact that the XSX is also seeing more support from Japanese devs than the X1 did to bolster western software sales (see Tales of Arise and Nier Replicant), and that number is crippled even more.
That is not the point however. The point is that due to Switch, the PS5 will have far less Japanese exclusives. And when it comes to the west, no company is going to choose XSX or PS5 as an exclusive platform without a moneyhat. This makes it impossible for the PS5 to have more 3rd party exclusives than the PS4 (the topic).
