PS4 price cut wont happen, due to high ps5 price, PS4 could outsell ps2 with a price cut.

Unlikely; at this late stage in its life, PS4 will be close to market saturation so a price cut won't do as much as it would have in its prime.
I can not update my FY sales graphics (that many people here liked!), because of this bug still present which doesn't display the sales of the Switch on the home page.
It is not working for me on Firefox and Chrome.
Can I have the hardware sales values of the Switch in a table for the period Feb to May 2020 ?

It could outsell PS2 with a price cut but probably they will only cut it by $50.
The PS4 is still doing above 200k weekly and as a comparison so far, PS4 in 2020 is tracking 2 million units more compared to PS3’s 2013 in the same time gap.

If you mean on this page - https://www.vgchartz.com/tools/hw_date.php - click on the "PSV" below the graph to turn that off and the Switch should popup. |
Ok got it. Thanks!
(but if I can also get in once the values in a table... :| )
Thanks ! But I had just finished to copy them :D
Maybe I will re-enter the stock before they announce the next gen console...It looks very brutal for now.
Maybe Animal Crossing is the strongest hardware sales booster ever seen in video games history.

Holy YOY Batman. And this is with significant supply constraints.
The big question now remains whether they can muster enough major software in the second half to capitalize on their current momentum.

Imagine the wasted potential if they somehow didn't have a major holiday title this year and end up having a mediocre sales period.
Something like 3DS in 2015 where the big Q4 titles were Triforce Heroes and Super Mystery Dungeon.
I highly doubt that will happen though.

God I hope not, that would be such a horrible shame.
They'll need something at least on par with Splatoon 2 or Mario Odyssey for the holidays to keep the second half up to speed.
