So we had Kinect spying on us this gen and now a controller with a microphone to spy on us next gen.

Its quite ironic actually. I remember the fuss Kinect 2.0 caused over a camera lens which was easily coverable.. I guess people don't care about if they are being spied on anymore.

I'm pretty happy about this. As one of the literally hundreds of people who owned and enjoyed the Dreamcast online mic that plugged into the the controller, I've long been a fan of this method. I did much the same with the Vita. Not a fan of wearing headsets at all. It's my #1 impediment in enjoying online multiplayer. Nice to have another option at the very least.

I do think its a great idea, something the Wii did and now the PS5 and I was hoping Xbox would do the same. I hate wearing headsets, one reason I liked Kinect, could just chat through Kinect.

I will assume the PS5 wont come with a headset in the box since you will be getting the voice speaker via controllers. The PS4 wasn't going to include a headset either until last minute they threw in a cheaper Ear Plug alternative to XB1's 1 speaker Headset that was bundled. 

I know the PS4 headset was considered cheap garbage but I honestly liked it. It was very light weight and simple to use. I used it for a long time. Needed something more robust for Rainbow six siege though.

How can I prank people then? A few years ago I and a buddy would troll his roommate's Kinect. "Xbox, GAY MIDGET PORN!" anytime he was playing Xbox. It was fucking hilarious!

well the problem with Kinect is it make the price of Xbox One more expensive , and not just listened but also take your image/video . Dual sense is very different. And you can still able to use DS4 on PS5.

The console mockup looks like a trash can but is somehow nice.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
