Splatoon 3 finally coming alive. I want to make a comparison marker, just in case it explodes remarkably.

Splatoon 2- 297 (+8)

Splatoon 3- 189 (+0)

57 days left

Splatoon 2- 463 (+12)

Splatoon 3- 224 (+0)

So Splatoon 3 has gained 35 pts in 3 weeks vs Splatoon 2 gaining 166 pts.

43 days left

Splatoon 2- 597 (+11)

Splatoon 3- 259 (+2)

Splatoon 2 gained 134, Splatoon 3 gained 35 pts. A small change in pace for both games with both games doing slightly better now.

26 days left

Splatoon 2- 723 (+11)

Splatoon 3- 347 (+20)

Splatoon 2 gained 126 pts, Splatoon 3 gained 88 pts. Splatoon 3 still behind in pace but that could change very soon.

Interesting to see Kirby climb back into the #1 spot this long after its release. Unquestionably going to be the top selling Kirby game, but I'm curious to see how far its legs will take it. 10 million feels like too much but stranger things have happened.

Looking at the sales of the "evergreens". looks like it might be a good week HW wise for the Switch.

I didn't make a combined table back then. Boutros didn't do it in his early days as well.

I do wonder if there will be any game on PS5 in the future that reach close to these COMG numbers that Splatoon 3 and Pokemon S/V are reaching. Not to say COMG numbers are everything but it’s amazing to see these numbers in the current Japanese market.
