Sanity has prevailed!

Unfortunately the damage trump did by his own disposition caused the psyche's of those that supported him or have THAT particular mindset to degrade further; if that was even possible.  The conservative side at least bowed out usually or at worst did some minor "lalalala's" with their fingers in their ears in the past...now though there's been a change where that could become their rite of passage and they could get much more aggressive with hopeless delusions.  Stand by for worse insanity.

Not only did Trump lose, but he lost in such a humiliating way, declaring victory early like that. How embarrassing.

He is still declaring himself the winner.

To be fair, he did call dibs on Michigan and Pennsylvania. Where I come from, dibs matter.

There was a Trump parade in my town today, after he lost. Most of the drivers had their windows rolled down. I yelled "YOU LOST!!!" to each and every dumbass redneck passing me by. Normally I wouldn't be such a jackass in public. Maybe on the internet, but not in public. But these people rolling around with their stupid Nazi-level flags, AFTER their president lost is just ridiculous. Give it up. It's over.

Eh just like how in 2016 Democrats protested the election to get their voices heard i think its fair if Republicans do the same.

Democrats had a point though. The Electoral College is as inane and undemocratic as banning POC or Women from voting. Hillary won the election by 3 million votes, yet because of our antiquated system Donald was sent to the white house.

The person that gets the most votes wins an election. Simple as that. Anything else is thinly veiled tyranny.

The issue here is that bipartisanship means this rapidly devolves into a de facto one party state because no one will vote for the only viable alternative. Then what?

1.Obama tried to resurrect bipartisanship, and McConnell kill it for good.

2. That assumes that a viable Republican alternative exists. They don't.

3. Even if they did exist they would never get the Republican nomination in the Trump era.

You haven't answered my question. Who opposes and has a shot at winning against the Democratic Party in that case?

....What?

Assuming the Democratic Party remains as dominant as it does, who opposes them and has a shot at winning?

What?

As much as I'd like to say the Deomcratic party is an unstoppable juggernaut, it's just not the case. They lost the last election. They performed meh in the house elections this year. At best they'll tie in the Senate.

The republicans just need a candidate who can perform 1% better in Arizona, 1% better in Wisconson, and like .2% better in Georgia. The GOP still has an obvious shot at winning.

Other than winning the Presidency, the Democratic party did poorly this election. So what are you talking about?

I'm not American, but hopefully now some semblance of normality can return to the US and the division and hostility of recent years can start to slowly subside and heal. My American friends are breathing a sigh of relief and I am happy for them.

What flags?

Did the Trump campaign really book the wrong "Four Seasons" as a venue for their press conference or is this just a secret message from QAnon?

I'm a little skeptical about his team's ability to mount a successful legal challenge.

This is the part in the movie when the centaurs come out and drag Betsy devos off into the forbidden Forrest right?
