Yeah, this week was harsh. And it probably will continue to lose 70k-100k on a weekly basis for the next weeks until summer at the very least.

I think it will keep losing 100k a week for a while and it won't get any better during summer.

It won't get better then, but the PS4 dropped to 175k last year, so I think the gap might be a bit smaller than 100k, though not smaller if you'd go by percentage.

Just posted week 9 numbers.
YIKES, that PS4 drop. Last of Us 2 and FFVII Remake can't come soon enough it seems.

Oops!

That was for me to keep track of where the first adjustments were being made while I edited the numbers. I just forgot to change it back when I was done. XD

Yes, the % drop should remain similar but absolute numbers won't stay at a 100k weekly deficit.

Starting to see the affect of the coronavirus on switch sales.

Around the Network

Just posted the Week 10 numbers. The drops continue for all three systems.

With the coronavirus and forced closures of shops, I think that negative trend will continue for a while, even with production resuming in China.

It's Animal Crossing release next week ...
Counter-attack time !

Well, only if that's even possible. Many stores that are not grocery stores or pharmacies are closed throughout Europe, and I don't think that's only the case here. Besides, due to social distancing, I'm not sure if many would even go to the stores to buy the game now - or the console for that matter. And then there's the possibility of shortages due to lack of production...

Just posted Week 11 numbers. More of the same as the lows keep getting lower for the PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch is essentially the same as last week.
Next week is going to be a BIG one.

I just posted Week 12 numbers and all I have to say is...

HO-LY SHIT!

Coronavirus be damned.
