So, I'm on the lookout for a good headset because my current one has about had it. Don't have a big budget, probably going to aim for $60 as an upper limit. maybe a bit higher. Anybody have a headset in that price range? Some ones I've been looking at are the Astro A10, HyperX CloudX Stinger, Razer BlackShark V2, Razer Kraken, Corsair HS35, and the SteelSeries Arctis 1. I'm somewhat tempted by that official Xbox Wireless Headset for $100, but it's pretty much impossible to find the darn thing. Also I prefer wired honestly, so I don't have to charge an extra thing.

I recommend the Logitech G headset series. I bought the G7 in like 2017 and the headphones are only now starting to wear out.

Sits still so weird how Microsoft still doesn’t support Bluetooth on Xbox. Anyone know why?

Bethesda was as close with MS as Itagaki all the way to the Morrowind days...

I've never heard a bad word about Matt Booty, seems there's a lot of praise for him in the industry as being a really great guy, makes me happy that we have a structure like that in place cause if Phil Spencer were to ever retire (hopefully not anytime soon) Matt Booty would be next in line and we'll know Xbox is still in good hands, for at least two leaderships (unless Booty retires first) but even if that happens we have a whole host of potential Studio Heads to take over his position.

Sarah Bond is also doing an amazing job, another strong candidate, of course I'm not expecting anything to change anytime soon but it's relieving to see regardless the chances of us ending up with another...strictly business suite who doesn't really get the market seems low.

Strange, I was using a pair of LS15X.

Idk maybe they fixed that in the newer versions (LS35X) because the one I have and recommended don’t have a dongle or static issue. Sound is really good, MS ones do have Bluetooth which is nice. LS seems to have better mic, so it depends on whichever you care about more. I don’t think you can go wrong either way

Since the backlash from that 3rd party showcase, Greenberg has been doing a much better job at managing expectations.

Played some more Octopath Traveler. I know you could technically skip the recruitment phase and carry on with your character's main quest but why not get at least four party members? Anyway, I've been going from town to town to recruit everyone.
Sadly, the first chapter of every character basically always follows the same structure. I didn't mind for the first two or three characters but it's starting to get repetitive now. I'll still continue getting all eight party members (currently on my way to get the sixth), I just hope the game will have more unique quests once I start every character's 2nd chapter.

Been playing Doom Eternal on the XSX lately. Idk why I slept on the game before, it's pretty fucking amazing. I think it probably goes overboard with the collecting and unlocks, it seems like every gun has 2-3 upgrades, plus your suit has upgrades, plus you get upgrades for the general game itself, plus each utility has an upgrade. It reminds me a lot of Shadow of War where they had a good base (in this case Doom 2016) and just added too much shit. That annoyance aside, the game is incredible. And it plays so well on the Series X. I die a lot, it literally reloads in like 1.5 seconds. The traversal is also really good, and it's probably the only shooter around that actually puts effort into hiding its secrets and shit so that you actually have to look for them.

It would be pretty amazing to see id get a shot at something Halo related.
