Watched the whole Roundtable now, it was a interesting format.
Much better than Inside Xbox's.

Done with DiRT 5.
Definitely a step up from DiRT 4 (which itself was a mix between DiRT and DiRT Rally) and roughly on the same level as the ones before that.
On a technical level the game runs very well but it could definitely look a little better. The game looks a little too cartoonish and overall pretty flat due to poor lighting/shadows during non-sunny times of day.
There are plenty of new tracks but due to the way the career is designed, you will race them constantly. They should've updated some previous tracks to add more variety and not entirely rely on new tracks (though I think the South African track might be from a previous DiRT game).
DiRT 5 feels very arcadey, so expect lots of high-speed drifting.
There are quite a few different kinds of events but not all of them are designed very well. The worst being the Sprint event with sprint cars that are almost impossible to drive. I played through the whole game on medium difficulty, getting 1st place in over 95% on the first try but failed Sprint constantly. Even on very easy it's a very hard task that will take several tries since the AI is just too OP here.
The AI in general is pretty weird and overall not that enjoyable. They're driving in one large group, often side by side so it's very difficult to overtake them. Doubt I've ever come across a racing game that does this.
Lastly I want to talk about that one shitty achievement. Everything is easily obtainable during career mode but there's one cheevo for driving 1,000 miles. Problem is, after you've completed every single event in career mode, you're only 47%-ish percent there. It would take about 8 more hours to get the achievement. Pretty hilarious but not as hilarious as the fact that the original achievement required 10,000 miles....
Overall, it's a very nice racing game but nonetheless there's potential for improvements. 8/10.
Prey, Fallout 4 and Dishonored 1
Finally games getting FPS boost that I haven't played (as much) yet!!!

I asked because a long time ago me and some friends were playing couch co-op in Halo 2. And they were going through a tunnel, riding on two vehicles. Friend B got pissed, and was convinced that it was Friend A that shot him. But both me and Friend A saw that it was the A.I. that shot him. |

Xbox folk keep promoting this, maybe some Game Pass stuff? |
XboxEra podcast guys said that they were in talks with MS something not likely that it’s an acquisition but some sort of Gamepass deal.

I was actually looking forward to this game at one point, and then it completely dropped off my radar. Was it any good?

Haven't played it yet but I like the setting and those gameplay elements sound interesting on paper.. unfortunately judging from reviews it doesn't fully utilize any of the ideas and it's way too easy. Shame.

There has never been any evidence to suggest anyone is in their right mind to get hyped for Xbox events that don't occur in the summer. MS is about E3/E3 substitutes, and that's pretty much it. This may change at some point, once all the studios they now own really get into the swing of things, but so far, it's business as usual.
