It’s very likely that they extended the deal.
I feel they would made a big deal of it, with the big ''exclusive'' word somewhere if it was a full time exclusive.
FF7 Remake is coming to PC at some point at least. But I wonder if the PC version is gonna release this year or not. Starting to seem unlikely, looks like Sony extended the deal because the updated version for PS5 + exclusive DLC seems like their attempt to push PS5 sales.

Sony is murdering MS in the PS plus offering compared to the GWG offering lately. It's not even close.

Not surprising. MS has no incentive to offer anything good in terms of free Gold games. They want people to ditch Gold, not like it better.

The only thing that concerns MS about people who aren't interested in GP, is how they can make them interested in GP

First proper glimpse indeed. 
Slowly but surely building excitement for Halo. I'm going to buy it at retail but pre install with Gamepass.
I think the flood might show up later as campaign dlc. Kind of like the awakening the nightmare dlc for halo wars 2.
