The Legendary Tim Schafer stops by the Xbox Podcast and talks with Major Nelson about the Classic LucasArts Remasters coming to Xbox Game Pass.

As part of today’s show, Tim confirmed that the Classic LucasArts Remasters are coming October 29 to all Xbox Game Pass members, Xbox, Windows 10 PC, and Android (with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate). Fans will be able to play three beloved LucasArts adventure games – Grim Fandango Remastered, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, and Full Throttle Remastered – in their revitalized glory.

Now that's some good news for point and click adventure fans.

I haven't played any of these games so this is a nice treat. I've heard great things about Grim Fandango.

Microsoft has extended the warranty on Elite 2 controller for a full year now after a lawsuit came out against their poor build quality (stick drift and stuff).

Oh man I hope Stick drift isn’t an issue with the new series controllers. The Xbox one controllers had issues to, I had two have stick drift. Xbox has the best controllers imo but I hate the stick drift issues 😔

Voted for New Vegas. Keep hearing how amazing it is, would love to see that remade. And agreed Ryuu, MS needs a remaster studio.
Asobo
Techland
Remaster Studio
IO Interactive
Done.
If MS is bored maybe throw in WB.

Removed Perfect Dark since we're under the assumption that is happening anyway so it's a boring option, replaced it with Lost Odyssey.

? I never thought a remake or remaster is happening. Isn’t more of a full reboot or something that takes place in the same universe according to rumors?

Got a very slight stick drift on my controller that came with the Xbox One X.
Been using that a lot for the past two years though. Also it's not noticeable in 99.5% of the games I play. The movement is still within the deadzone for most of these.

My first XB1 controller had stick drift, 2nd one has been good so far stick wise, but the USB charging port on the 2nd one fried so now I have to move my Xbox Play and Charge Kit battery into my old stick drift controller whenever I need to charge the battery, it’s a pain in the butt.

Really hoping for higher build quality on the Xbox Series controller that comes with my XSX.

I have 3 controllers that have a messed up charging port as if I’m violently yanking on the cord while plugged in. I’m so gentle with my controllers and somehow the port gets bent and doesn’t charge anymore. I don’t think imma play plugged in anymore just charge it not playing lol.

My first controller with the OG Xbox one is beyond messed up, the analogs look fine but has a severe down drift (more likely to do with some internal issues) because it also presses buttons by itself.

I switched over to these a few months ago and so glad I did.  No more wires and I always have one ready to go.  I keep mine plugged in on a surge protector powerstrip that has USB connections so I don't tie up my USB ports on my console.

I bought the same one several months ago as well and it work great. Batteries hold like a 12-15 charge. Plus you don't need to worry about cables.

I made the mistake about a year ago buying some shitty 1200mAH rechargeable batteries and shit cables. Batteries couldn't hold a charge long and the cables would always disconnect. I'm glad the new xbox controllers have usb-c port so the cords won't disconnect as easily, but battery charge stations are the way to go.
