I got an S.
I think the X has been way more popular in general. Amazon UK had sold out of X's when I first checked about 90 mins after preorders started. The S is still in stock now. I can't imagine the S has a lot more stock than the X, if anything probably quite a bit less. Surprised tbh, thought the £249 pricetag would have made it sell out almost as fast as the X.
I didn't expect a 50/50 split or anything, but if I had to pull a figure out of nowhere I'd say demand for X over S is more like 80/20 maybe even 90/10.
Is it? Who are the first ones to buy something, early adopters.

Hardly surprising early adopters want the more powerful console. I'd expect strong sales for S during holidays if they have the stock.
What launch games yall looking forward to?
Only one I'm getting day one is Yakuza. Ubisoft games go down too fast for me to buy day one.

X didn't last long at all on Amazon UK the site crashed from 8:00 - 8:10 then at 8:17 they had sold out, They did get a little more allocation around 10:30ish but they disappeared in a few minutes also.
It would be nice to know the shipment ratio between the S/X for sure I'd expect something like 80-90% of the first 3m consoles produced to be the X and then a gradual ramp up of S as demand surges for a low price console after tech enthusiasts and brand loyalists eat up the Series X.
Thanks guys. As an Xbox fan from the start, I was always going to get the series X eventually, but yesterday's Bethesda news made me go for the pre-order. I know it won't make a difference for launch games, but it got me excited enough to pull the trigger.
In terms of games, for now, I'm mostly looking forward to playing updgraded versions of games on the series X, especially Forza Horizon 4. I'm coming from an Xbox one s, so the upgrades should be nice. Will definitely try gears tactics on gamepass, and whatever else is coming near launch. The only new game I'm thinking of buying is Cyberpunk, but I might wait for the next gen update first.
