I'm expecting Asobo to be the next big acquisition from Microsoft :)

Those 2 are just doing amazing things together! 

Xbox needs a big AAA sudio one more big one. And I think relying on second party is not the best move going forward. Maybe working with 2nd parties like Asobo and then possibly if the cards are right, reaching out for acquisition. Obviously studios like Moon who outright refuse would not fit that bill.

So yesterday I played one of the Sunset Overdrive DLC missions and my consoled crashed again due to overheating. I was pretty far into the mission but it didn't crash during the ending cutscene or something like that.
Today, I was starting the game up again, expecting to replay the mission. Instead I got an achievement for beating it upon loading the save file. Basically I managed to skip the mission. No idea how that's even possible.

I just have kind of given up on Persona on Xbox sadly. Atlus will do what they want. I definitely feel like Switch and Nintendo in general is a more likely candidate.
Xbox does have the porting advantages and similar power, switch would have the sales.

Sumo Digital, Remedy and Asobo would’ve been some great pick ups. Sumo is large and can support and be a lead. Remedy deserves no introduction. Asobo is talented af, plus they sit on a gold mine of an engine, they’re the only French studio worth a sh*t.
If possible, I believe MS should go for Crytek. They’re immensely talented but ruined by amateurs.

Exactly this. Unless Phil specifically goes to Atlus and offering some good deal, it is not happening in the near future. They will port P3 to PC in fall, followed by P5R early next year. Then they will probably port the old games to PS and Switch. And only after that they can possibly consider Xbox versions.

I thought Sony was rumored to buy Remedy, that was awhile ago though. oof.

It's not only about selling all games digital but also about killing the used games market so that prices can stay higher and more people need to buy a game new if they want to play the game. 

I think that's worth it to ask for $100 less.
