Shinobi said about the publisher that some people will be happy and others will say "that's it?". This sounds like a rather small publisher to me. Maybe Annapurna, big ben, devolver etc.

You guys read way too much into every little thing that some insider says.

It could be a huge publisher like EA, and what shinobi said would still be true. For as big and successful as EA are, and the huge franchises they own, tons of people hate them, so any reaction to a GamePass deal between them and MS would be split. Same with Activision.

Mind you, I'm not saying it's going to be one of these mega-publishers, just that shinobi's statement is going to be accurate regardless of how big or small the publisher in question is. Many people will look at any partnership and go "....meh."
