Microsoft exclusive Persona would make me cry, yell and ask why to a wall for a whole hour.

But being a Sony exclusive is okay?

Also if such a partnership happened, there is absolutely zero chance their games go exclusive to Xbox, it'll be focused on providing content for Gamepass/xCloud.

Even if the games aren’t exclusive, the day 1 value aspect of low barrier low cost access will make GP in itself a system seller.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

At most I could see Lockhart, not Series X, being branded as a Sega console, digital only console with a focus on xCloud/Gamepass and Sega titles coming to Gamepass/xCloud, both parties benefit most that way.

But I don't even think it is that, I'm expecting a disappointing reveal cause that sums up this Summer Fest so far.

I agree that Lockhart is more likely. Maybe it is a SEGA handheld tied to MS services and sharing the same dev environment as Series X. I also expect it to be an overhyped disappointment even though it has nothing to do with Summer Fest

Damn the sega thing might be real? MS should just let Sega run the Japanese branch of Xbox too then.

CDPR is probably the Tesla of the video games industry. Incredibly overvalued.

Rainbow Six Siege alone generated $1.1bn until May 2019 and therefore made probably more money than The Witcher 3 where only 9m out of 28m copies were sold in its release year. DLC sales are obviously much lower (and in some part already included in the GOTY edition).
The Division 1 probably came close as well.

Also worth noting that Ubisoft released 11 games that sold over 10m copies this generation (Assassin’s Creed Unity, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, The Division, The Division 2, Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rainbow Six Siege, Watch Dogs, and Watch Dogs 2), plus many, many others that sold in the 1-9.9m range. By comparison CD Projekt will release 2 games that sold over 10m this generation, plus the much much smaller Thronebreaker and Gwent.

Whilst I agree that CDP is almost certainly over-valued, including versus Ubisoft, you're all just looking at the potential revenue side of the coin.

Ubisoft has a lot more games but also a LOT of employees. Someone up above cited 16,000. Last I checked CDP had just over 1000. As stock prices are (meant to be) a function of future profits, it is conceivable that investors genuinely think CDP is more likely to produce future profits than Ubisoft.

Actually, if Lockhart is a handheld, then it would almost certainly ragdoll the PS5 around, handhelds are humongous in Japan.

So we know Mojang has two unnanounced games they're working on. Do you thing they'll be multiplatform like MC Story mode and Dungeons or console exclusive?

Definitely multiplatform.

I believe that at least one of these projects will be unrelated to Minecraft so there's a good chance it'll be Xbox and PC only.

If they are Minecraft spin-offs Multiplat but I could see a new IP project been Xbox only.

If the games use the Minecraft IP, definitely multiplatform. If they are something new, good chance it's Xbox/PC only. I would like to see one of these games be  something completely different from Minecraft.
