Xbox marketing is BAD. I had to rant about it on the Pod. Full rant: https://t.co/aQ23o2CRZg pic.twitter.com/49WbAhINLP

Being called out more.
Number of things need to be done.
Firstly, I looked at Xbox Wire, which is where Xbox posts its news, Xbox Wire only has 339k followers compared to Xbox US's 19.9m, Xbox UK's 940k, Xbox Game Pass's 1.4m and PC Game Pass's 508k. The place where Xbox posts their news for some reason has a significant amount less followers than even Game Pass PC.
Makes me think that they should just close the Xbox Wire Twitter and post their news directly through the Xbox Twitter. Look at how PlayStation does it, they have PlayStation blog, which is where they post their news, but they post it directly through their Twitter accounts. I don't think RTs are enough, especially when RTs can be turned off, I feel like Xbox Twitter has more RTs than tweets, but Sony/Nintendo have more tweets than RTs.
Secondly, they have to align better with Bethesda, I know that they're technically separate divisions and whatnot and Bethesda does their own marketing without input from Xbox but how hard would it be to simply give each other a heads up? When Bethesda drops a new trailer for something, all Xbox channels (Twitter/YouTube/Insta) should be posting it as well at exactly the same time, not hours after Bethesda.
The way they currently do it feels disconnected and like Bethesda isn't even apart of Xbox, I think unity is important for the brand and they need to be more in sync. Especially when I don't really consider Bethesda to have good marketing either.
Then they need to actually market their damn games, it's so bad that Pentiment doesn't have a single tweet by Xbox's twitter account, only RTs. I don't think this is a case of saving budget on marketing or "Game Pass means less marketing" because it's something so basic and of little cost, a simple few Tweets about Pentiment will cost nothing.
They also need to do more video events I think to showcase titles, they need to copy the Nintendo Direct style of events, especially starting in 2023. Just saying again, look at how Sony and Nintendo will promote something, even if it's some random ass timed exclusive, every single PlayStation Twitter will post about it at once and it feels like a genuine attempt to push something, Xbox feels like they just toss stuff out and hope for the best.
