Whatever stories people are making up to convince themselves they're not wasting their time, the reality is that 90% of every mmo is designed for the intention of Endgame/longevity. Thinking you can ignore that aspect is just deluding yourself into enjoying a shallow experience when there are better alternatives.

Of course I know about all the dungeon crawlers because I pretty much played them all including all the Diablo games.  Pretty much not really understanding your point.  I play games to have fun, if the game contains things I care nothing about and it does not interrupt the fun I am having then I can easily ignore them as I usually do.  The game is free to play, from numerous reviews it appears its a fun game to play.  For the people who have to deck out their character or get all the legendary items and things like that I am not one of them.  Never cared about that stuff, for the people that do, well its obvious that this is probably the game to avoid.

Still, why would I care what the intention of the game.  I do not play the end game, I do not play game+ mode, PVP or any of that stuff.  Not sure how I can be deluding myself since I know exactly what I like as I stated in the previous post.  As to ignoring stuff I care little about, have been doing that since I started playing games.  I am sure there are better experiences but who cares, I do not game on my phone unless I am away from home and this is an easy game to jump into and out of for free.

We know Redfall and Starfield.

Forza Motorsport is likely which makes 3 already.

Now it depends on whether they include Grounded (Full Release) and also if GoldenEye HD & As Dusk Falls release before July 1st, if not, there's 6 already.

But we also have Belfry and Pentiment strongly rumoured so if we remove Goldeneye and As Dusk Falls and say they release in June, there's 5 still, along with Grounded's full release, that makes 6. Does it also include Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo? Does it include PC ports like Age of Empires IV?

Too many unknowns, I suppose we better wait and see until June 12th, Lol.

I automatically assumed they only meant "new" releases from first-party studios which would've excluded all the games you mentioned minus the rumored Belfry and Pentiment.

Too many unknowns, but exciting unknowns considering how close we are to the reveals! A few days from the big showcase and just a few hours away from Summer Games Fest :)

Oh I guess I'll get Evil within 2 since its $8 now.

You can play it solo and that's how I played it, other players are on the map but no one killed me and most seem rather to find friends.
