Nadella when asked about Xbox gaining market share on the Switch probably

He is absolutely right about the switch being a previous gen console

Ever since the Wii, I have no idea how to rank Nintendo's consoles I just know the Switch is twice as powerful spec wise to the Wii U and the Wii U was considered to be Nintendo's next-gen console at the time. 

If Sony can get away with making devs make mandatory trials and put them behind a paywall then MS should do the same.

No major first or third party launches so this was expected 

We've learned the hard way that Sony can get away with a lot more than MS can  

MS technically does have a game trials system in place via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Only difference is that you can play the entire game if you wanted to without ever downloading the game on your console lol. Even though this would be confined only to games within Game Pass. Activision Blizzard will definitely make XCG seem more like game trials though! 

We may just get them as a default now. If they have to take additional time to make these demo's they could just port it over, especially considering the main bulk of the game would already be done the port would be easy. (Assumption, have no idea but seems to make sense.)

Would be ultimate good guy phil move if they weren't locked behind a paywall but don't be surprised if they are behind ultimate as that precedent has already been set by Sony and Papa will get no backlash at all.

Tbh they’re still benefiting from the release of Halo and Forza the previous quarter.
