Interesting... Tencent? Sony? MS? Amazon?

This is Amazon’s real chance to actually make an impact in the gaming industry if they are serious. Also while they would not cost nearly as much as ActiBlizz they have double the amount of employees at over 20k and Bleeding talent as well due to the workplace scandals. MS would be scrutinized if they went for it and I don’t think that Sony would try and also take on that many employees at once. Tencent and Amazon we the most likely imo. |
I'm betting on Amazon personally. Their games division is growing at a snails pace. New World had a fantastic launch player count wise, but that has since bombed due to the piss poor state the game is in. Lost Ark is a huge hit, but they're only publishing it. That's about it for Amazon Games lol.
I can see them purchasing Ubisoft, who already has some of their games in Amazon Luna, and being fully integrated into the service. That could give Amazon Luna a pretty good boost as well as give Amazon Games an insane number of developers and studios.
