Kind of annoying that they won't confirm it or deny it and give an updated number. Saying "we're sticking with our 18m number" will just give the haters fuel to attack Gamepass for having no growth in 9 months.

I have said multiple times that you guys worry waaaay too much about what the "haters" say. I can't think of one positive thing that could come from disclosing those numbers. What I can see is other companies copying the model if they see it being very succesful, not to mention developers asking for more money as well. So yeah, I think it is in Microsoft's best interest to hold off those numbers as much as they possibly (and legally) can.

Who cares about the haters. Disclosing the current numbers won't change anything because those people would still find something to complain about like they always do.

Reasonable, xbox has been in my eyes allways been the one for playing together, starting from lan with 2OG xbox with 4 players each and keeping that splitscreen trend alive.
