A recent change to a LinkedIn profile has given us a hint that an unannounced MachineGames Project is in the works. Other than that, however, we have no information. The hint comes from the LinkedIn profile of Teemu Kivikangas, who shared on the site that he is the lead designer of the unannounced project.

Lead game designer on an unannounced project. Senior game designer on upcoming Indiana Jones-game.

MachineGames is Also Working on an Unannounced Project Apart from Indiana Jones | Op Attack

It’s 100% Wolfenstein 3 but MachineGames is too small to work on 2 projects at once, my hope would be that they expand in to a two team studio but it’s possible that Arkane Lyon will probably co-develop one of the games.

My early impressions of the 2nd Halo flight so far:

  • ...
  • I'm fairly sure I encountered a hacker today, he was able to sprint faster than you are supposed to be able to, and somehow was able to do 2 melee attacks so quickly that it was more like being 1 hit killed by melee

Yeah this is actually a button combo. Melee, change weapon, melee. B + Y + B on recon button layout. It's super annoying but at least its not hacking, so they'll surely patch it out. You can also gain momentum in this game by sliding and mantling etc. which can increase your overall speed, this I think is actually intended behaviour and part of the skill curve.

I'm not too worried about mouse and keyboard vs. controller at this point because I expect the hoppers to give the option of excluding keyboard for the full release.

My main complaints are that the spartan chatter is still unnecessary, ridiculous nonesense, and so is "butler". Also agree with you about the radar.

Halo Infinite tech preview is live. At least you can download it and play the weapon drills and training mode. Training mode is a bit bugged for me. It won't let me swap weapons.

Yeah I had this as well. If you're not using the default COD-style button layout then for some reason it starts you off with no button bound to swap weapon. Go into the menu and find the "on the ground" controls and you'll notice that swap weapon binding is completely blank. Ridiculous lack of quality control even for a beta imo.

Very underwhelming. Little graphical improvements (other than the obvious resolution and framerate). Only the character faces are noticeably different.

In Alan's case that's not for the best. He looks completely different and IMHO just as outdated as the original.

Looks pretty good to me.  Its a remaster with better textures, lighting and resolution, not sure what more you were looking for.  I personally have no real interest to replay the game but this looks solid to me.

uhm a good remaster? None of the improvements you mentioned (except resolution) are really noticeable as proven by the video and in terms of facial models they even changed the protagonists face (not updated it!).

It still looks as outdated as the 360 version.

Example for a good remaster: CoD MW 1+2 Remastered.

I'll happily skip Alan Wake remaster. Not a huge improvement and I very much dislike they changed the looks of Alan. It's a dealbreaker for me. Besides the original looked good enough on Xbox One so if I play it again it'll be a nightmare difficulty run on original version. I don't have the cheevo yet.

So, there is crazy leak on Reddit that due to Windows 11 coming soon, a ton of games will be coming to Windows Store and it seems like they will all be play anywhere as well. I'm not sure how this guy who leaked it sees it, but he says that is shows Xbox consoles as well as PC under platforms in Xbox Store pages for some games. He lists all Ubisoft, 2K, Bandai Namco recent games as such

I guess we will leave it to the eye of the beholder, looks fine to me and a decent mark upgrade but then again, I never really expect much from remasters and I cannot remember a time I actually spent money on them.

Well I wanted to give an update on my gaming hands.  I received my controller condom Wednesday but didn't get to try it out until Friday, Saturday and today.  I put in 20 hours and can say what ever was causing my hand pain was resolved.  I think I just needed the extra thickness this cover is providing.  Plus it has some cushion in case I was just gripping too tightly.

I just want to give a shout out to all the people who were concerned about the well-being of my hands, and all the kind words and get-well-soon wishes that were sent my way.  It means a lot to know how much y'all care.

I've also begun my wrist exercises, mainly for my left hand, my right one is built like a tank.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Never realized that Syndicate was on BC, happy that it is.

Game is basically the last real Starbreeze game before they broke off into MachineGames.
