Anyone here experiencing hand discomfort with the Series X/S controllers?

I've been using mine since launch and have no problems for short gaming sessions but when I get into the 2-5 hour ranges I start to hurt. I have not experienced this with other controllers, I'm thinking about using Xbox One controllers on the series X, but I like the snappy response of the series x controller. I thought it was something I would adjust to but that is not happening. I'm mostly relaxed through most of my gaming sessions but with Battlefield and Halo on the way I usually tend to be hyper-focused with those and would imagine my pain to kick in earlier with those.

I know the Xbox One controllers were going to receive a firmware update, but I don't know if it would put them on a par performance wise as the Series controllers.

Might need to start liftin pimp, jk.

Is it the feel of the grips? I thought Shika said something about that back in November when it came out. So far I don't have issues with long sessions with either controller, ps5 or Series.

I might try some grip covers to thicken the controller a bit.

I found this one.  Will see if it helps, I don't want to switch to the One controller, I've already purchased 4 Series controllers and I'm only on my second one.

Just now ordered it, will wait for it to come in and try it out in about a week.

Been shredding your new Strat too much maybe?

My new calluses let me go a long time.  Being coordinated enough now to sing with what I play is very motivating.

This makes 3 post in a row.  I don't want to be banned.

I had just earned this.

Some more impressions from various games:

Psychonauts 2:
Already played it for 10 hours. Fantastic game. Really impressed that this game is made by Double Fine considering they have mostly done smaller indie-type game for the longest time. They are definitely worthy of a decent budget at Microsoft.

Superliminal:
Game is excellent thus far. Reminds me of the good old Portal times. But on a technical level the console version is extremely disappointing. It came out (on consoles) in 2020 and yet the game runs at 30 FPS with a sub 1080p resolution. There's also not much going on. Small rooms, no NPCs, no effects. Even the base Xbox One should be able to get a better result.

Judgment:
I quickly gave up on beating it over the weekend. Feels like a great game though. Combat seems already better than any (non JRPG) Yakuza game. Hopefully we don't have to wait for it to come to Game Pass much longer.

Could you even imagine that lol.

NBA, WWE, Grand Theft Auto, Mafia, Bioshock, Borderlands, Civilisation, Red Dead...

Where does a 'rumour' like that even come from?

Can you guys please stop this....

There is no Take-Two acquisition.
