It's the battle between two double first name CEOs.

Lmao, they really do both have 2 first names, I never realized this.

BASIC WHITE MEN, ASSEMBLE!!!

I wonder how PlayStation guys are going to react to the live service thing, Guerrilla, Firesprite and Naughty Dog are working on some and that requires a ton of support to work.

Rumors now that Sony could buy a publisher, i really hope that it isn’t Capcom.

Can't wait to hear how it is such a great move for a better industry. And no one bringing up concerns about industry consolidation.

Haha it would be a even bigger blow to Nintendo and that will be like kicking a hornets nest. Don't worry they will try to spin it. Just like Sony anti-consumers time exclusives are making the industry a better place.

Bungie asking Microsoft for less is a bit surprising.

Must have broke Phil's heart to say no, Lmao, I wonder why they didn't, already got enough FPS? Maybe that multiplatform clause?

Even if was less, they were probably still asking too much. Bungie in my eyes isn't worth more than $2b unless that new IP is truly impressive, and I doubt they were willing to go that cheap for Microsoft.

Doesnt Bungie make like 500m a year in profit? 2B is only 4 years to make that back. I think in terms of evaluation it makes sense but as gamers we see the IPs they have and think otherwise.

You see Sony is keeping games on Xbox, I wish Phil was as pro consumer like Jim, maybe he could learn a thing or two.

It had nothing to do with Pro consumer, Bungie wants to remains multiplatform just like the Microsoft Minecraft Mojang acquisition and made it a clause in the acquisition. Sony is the biggest offender when it come to anti-consumers move just look at the number of Console time exclusive they have this generation.

Just prove your bias by trying to spin this acquisition for Sony. Keeping Bungie games on Xbox and PC is also working toward Sony's wanting to change the narrative and start bringing all their first party game to PC.

You mistaken revenue for profit..... Bungie makes 200-500m a year in Revenue.

  • Revenue is the total amount of income generated by the sale of goods or services related to the company's primary operations.
  • Profit is the amount of income that remains after accounting for all expenses, debts, additional income streams, and operating costs.

He's joking, Lol.

People are running away with that narrative and average joe will believe that Sony's making a pro consumer deal by keeping Destiny on Xbox.

Man I am loving FC Primal. I used to main a night elf hunter in WoW and my favorite thing was the pets. This has that feeling to it, little less complicated and more simplistic, but very fun. Love petting the animals and having them fight alongside you.

Good news is they kept the pet system for 5 and 6.

wait holy shit, are you serious? I wonder if it's in New Dawn, but I have 5. Might have to buy 6 earlier.

Marketing for this game has been so fucking weird.

Now all of a sudden there's two campaigns? and one is on Game Pass but the other is only purchasable? Wat?

According to one of the replies in that thread the first half of the campaign will be on gamepass while as the second half you'll need to purchase the $25 bundle to complete.
