Doesn't Amazon have a deal with Ubisoft for Ubimid+? Guess we'll be getting some scraps.

I didn't realise Ubisoft+ was day one releases too, that explains the price, lol.

Kinda doubt that ever gets rolled into Game Pass Ultimate unless it's a gimped version, like months after release.

Most likely. If you look at the list of games that are included in Ubisoft+ for the actual Windows desktop app, Luna, and Stadia, the latter 2 get practically NOTHING!

Could be this but I wonder what the price would be.

I sorta hope if they go down this route that they allow us to pick which we want for Game Pass Ultimate, either Ubisoft+ or EA Play, I imagine either EA Play leaves or the price of Ultimate goes up due to Ubisoft+

If this does happen and they do give us the option of which additional subscription service we can add on, then EA Play Pro will need to be EA's option alongside Ubisoft+. Right now it's just the $5/month EA Play, but EA Play Pro is the same monthly cost as Ubisoft+ and same features.

The way I see it, I don't think that MS would allow a GP competitor on their platform without getting something out of it. It's true that EA Play was on Xbox for quite some time before being part of GP Ultimate, but that's because EA Play existed for quite a while prior to GP even being a thing. Now, the value of Ubi+ is definitely higher than EA Play, so it's unreasonable, I think, to expect that full package to be rolled into GP Ultimate, but I do believe that GP Ultimate is likely to receive some scaled back integration of the service.

I'm sure someone will rip it to bits and tell us everything about the trailer but I'm terrible with that but going by the Armour of the guy the ships are arriving at a Breton Outpost/Island.

EA deal is way better than having the Ubisoft games. EA games are usually more popular.

Thought i'd share this. He is an ex Overwatch pro trying Halo competitive. They were only Mouse and Keyboard team. For casual play i think mix is okay but at high level it is just going to be controller only. Still enjoying the game, let's see how it holds up or improves its pc userbase. Obviously, should remain strong on consoles.

There's zero chance Ubisoft+ is going to be included with ultimate. EA Play is a $5/month service so a deal could be made to include it with the $15/month Gamepass ultimate and still be financially viable.

Ubisoft+ is $15/month. There's no way Microsoft can get a deal with Ubisoft where this works out.

Best that can be hoped for imo is potentially a cheaper Ubisoft+ subscription for Ultimate members as a perk. So if you are an Ultimate member you can get Ubisoft+ for $10/month instead of $15/month etc.

Bear in mind that EA Play Pro is $15 a month, same as Ubisoft+. Both EA Play Pro and Ubisoft+ have day one releases for $15 a month, whereas regular EA Play does not have day one releases for it's $5 a month. I see no reason why Xbox couldn't be negotiating with Ubisoft to design a cheaper version of Ubisoft+ which lacks day one Ubisoft releases, a version that works just like EA Play does.

Ubisoft *could* release a lower-tier of their service. But this doesn't exist at this point and I think them creating it specifically for gamepass seems unlikely. EA had their $5/month sub on xbox long before gamepass.

If Ubisoft wanted a cheap subscription offer they would have created it themselves I don't imagine Microsoft will have any influence in them creating a new tier to their services. If Ubisoft want in on gamepass they'll just do what they're doing with Rainbow Six Extraction, release the odd game on gamepass for some money from MS.

Including a cheaper version with gamepass could also dissuade people from buying their more expensive subscription so this dissuades Ubisoft from wanting to do it. They want people on the $15/month sub, that sub has less value if half of it is in gamepass as default.

It's a nice idea but I think it's a bit of stretch to invent a brand new service to link the dots for Ubisoft+ on gamepass and I don't think it makes sense for Ubisoft.
