The problem aren't government contracts per se. A problem are contracts with military and especially secret services. And for that it doesn't matter with what country you make such contracts. Secret agencies are undemocratic as they are uncontrollable and private companies shouldn't support that.

The way this industry is laughable.
Gamers want there beloved to only do one thing and find ways on disrespecting them because a business made a business deal..

MS: Lets make Kinect 2.
GAMERS: We dont want Kinect, just make games.

MS: We are focusing on delivering 3 to 4 games a years and wont be supporting VR.
GAMERS: We dont want more games, we want VR.
