I forgot that it launches earlier in Japan, not in January like the rest of the world.

The first trailer of Brain Training didn't look promising for a hardware mover as it basically showed the same old concept. This stands in contrast to Ring Fit Adventure that isn't a retread of Wii Fit.

Whilst I agree it didn't look that promising, it could be the sort of thing that "The casualz" eat up.

Updated the OP with the charts. Switch flat WoW.

Week 47 marks the fifth best week of the year for the SW and the worst week for the PS4. In order to be in the top for the SW has to sell over 180k and the PS4 more than 34k.

Pokemon crazyness far from over and RFA with stock problems hanging on. OG still selling more than Lite. Japanese love the best version of the SW

I know holiday sales are far more muted in Japan than in Europe or especially the US, but having the lowest weekly sales during that period just feels so wrong to me. It tells me that the demand for the PS4 is breaking away, so next year sales will probably be pretty low.

Switch sales flat from a new gen pokemon release? How lmaoooo. Seems like word of mouth that the game is actually good might be an aspect, although not sure it had backlash in japan as much as row.

Pokemon having similar drops to X/Y and lower than more recent games is good news. I think it will have pretty good legs again from word of mouth.

I know switch will destroy everything this holiday but each week I'm surprised. Like I saw on Twitter, pokemon is the first big game that really push the 1 console per person idea compare to the 1 per household and I'm sure that this factor going in 2020 with the help of AC and more will make it so the console might peak next year or come really close to this year. Cause like Switch didn't get anything amazing in 2019 until June, so the fact it has a bigger momentum starting 2020 and a huge system seller in march will be game changer imo.
