Anyone else use this app? I never knew it existed. Last night I found out about it from a friend. It's amazing and, as far as I know it's free. Go to your PlayStation store and download the app. Start watching TV. That's it!

Crazy that it's not on Xbox One. Xbox has like a thousand apps. I don't know what gives.  I have one under every TV (four TVs) so it would have been super convenient. If I lived alone, I'd drop Dish Network. That'd be $130 a month I could be saving!

Anyway, try it. Let me know what you think.

Does it also do the porn channels?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I'm gonna look into it when I get home, but free always means signing over privacy to a pack of ghouls who want to smell my garbage. So I'll likely pass.

Is there anyway to search for specific shows on the ps4 app?

I'm a little shocked that Sony has the app since they also have their own TV service. Pluto TV doesn't require a sign in or anything. Just download and start watching.

It does let you sign up and get access to more channels.  It doesn't cost anything.  It is free and gives a decent cable TV feel.  It has a bunch of obscure stuff also.  It is like a large B list of content.  It is what I pop on as a default on my Roku TV if I just want to watch something.

Also check out the Roku Channel, Crackle, and Tubi. I'm probably forgetting more but there are surprisingly good free media apps out there for anyone with a smart tv.

Pluto TV is good. Check out Tubi TV if you haven't already. They have lots of movies and shows and it's free also.

My TV updated one day, and one of the inputs just said, "Free TV"  Curious, I clicked it, and it was pluto tv.  Then, I found hell's kitchen.  Love it.
