This was such a hard choice between God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn. I went with HZD simply because I enjoy a good story over anything and HZD's story was better than God of War's (which still had a great story). Also enjoyed the overall worldsetting in HZD over God of War. I also genuinely enjoyed discovering what happened to the previous world in HZD. God of War's combat was much better though and the interactions between him and the son were great.

My only complaint with horizon was the combat with humans. They felt "floaty" , like there wasn't proper physics or weight to fighting them. Other than that great game, especially on hard mode.
