Forums - Nintendo Discussion - MK Wii - 1 Million in its first week, what's next?

Wii Fit. I am curious to see what Nintendo has in store for the holidays. They have used a lot of their big guns pretty early in the year (Brawl, MK Wii, and Wii Fit).

I recall a memo with Kirby, Animal Crossing, and Disaster. Wouldn't be too surprised if one or two of those get pushed back to '09, though. Or released late outside of Japan.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

Around the Network

Wii Fit
Mario Sluggers
Animal Crossing
Wii Music
Disaster Day Of Crisis
Fatal Frame IV (being published by Nintendo)

E3 should reveal a lot more Wii titles from Nitendo

From third party front a few notable titles are
Okami
Battle Of Bands
Boom Blox
Don Kings : Prizefighter
Speed Racer
Top Spin 3
We Ski (using the balance board)
Alone In The Dark 5
Lego Indiana Jones
Guitar Hero : Aerosmith
Rockband
Samba De Amigo
Spore
Active Live : Athletic World (Namco's stab @ track & field on wii)
Deca Sports
Star Wars Force Unleashed
Facebreaker
Deca Sports
Ghost Busters
New Tales Game
De Blob
Sonic Unleashed
Drawn To Life
Major Minor’s Majestic March (from the creator of Parappa The Rapper)
MySims: Kingdom
And Finally, We Love Golf to tide it over to 2009.

But I suspect we are going to hear a lot more surprises regarding Wii's winter linup during E3 2008.

Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>

Does anyone else see "MK" and the first thing that comes to mind is Mortal Kombat? When I first read that thread title, I was thoroughly impressed. Now, not so much.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Maybe De blob.

Wii fit 100% chance unless they stock 2 games per store.

Maybe Wii Music.
