It would be kind of annoying to have to come up with a different unique username on every site/game rather than just add a few numbers or something. It's already annoying enough having to deal with ridiculous password requirements everywhere.

My name came around when I wanted to make a character on RuneScape called Bristow, but the name was taken, so I tried Bristow1, then Bristow11, then Bristow666, stupid numbers, y'know? Then I decided I wanted it to be Bristow9001... y'know, for the "It's over 9000" meme since it was 2004 or something, I was a teenager and edgy lol... but I accidentally typed Bristow9091 without realising but it took it. About 16-17 years later here I am still using the same name because I can't be arsed thinking of anything else, good times!

I hate usernames that don't look like a name and have random-looking characters/numbers. You may as well mashed your hands on a keyboard.

I don't believe we have any way to change names. Just make a new account, and tell the mods what the new account is. We will permaban the old one, so you'll lose anything associated with it, except for mod history, which we'll keep in mind.

I'd probably change my name too (the com is for Comedy when I was doing stand up) but what can you do. A rose by any other name, etc.
