Still not sure about MS's Xbox app, because so far it still seems to just be pushing Gamepass, and I've zero desire for Gamepass. I want that app to be more like GoG/Steam. That said, I am greatly looking forward to GoG Galaxy 2.0.

That's largely because its in Beta at the moment, so features are a bit limited. But the reception seems positive so far. It's a lot better than the Windows Store, so that's something.

Around the Network

Steam
GOG
Microsoft Store (and now Gamepass and the XBOX app)
Origin
UPlay, I guess...
EGS

Steam and GOG are where my biggest libraries are. Microsoft Store because of the handful of XBone games that came to PC. Origin because of the half dozen EA games I give a shit about, and EGS is still only populated by free games. Though I will have no issues buying a game on there if the price is the lowest.

Steam.

There is nothing else!

Quakecore is currently testing it himself as I type this, so I'm reading his input on how it's going so far, as well as watching a few tubers thoughts on it so far.

It's definitely already shaping up to being a far better deal for us than what we've had for a few years with OG Galaxy now.

Really wish all the other clients would follow up on this, because it's really an amazing concept, and one that would unify a gamers library more, rather than to fracture it.

All that client needs is mod support somewhere down the line, then it'll be absolutely perfect for me.

Battle.net
Steam

Uninstalled

Origin
Uplay
GOG

None. I only game on consoles.

Steam, Xbox app and Battle.net is basically it.
Steam - Massive library of games and offers significantly more in features than any other strong front offers, Nothing comes anywhere close to it at the moment.
Xbox app - Play Anywhere games and my Gamepass sub both cross over from console basically providing a bunch of stuff to play.
Battle.net - Because I've always loved Blizzard games but that seems to be downhill lately :(

I'd love to use more of GoG because they are some good guys rerunning that but the library is still to small and misses out on so much compared to Steam and would just leave even more split purchases on my end so hopefully their new client can bring in more games and it can be a real contender in the future.

GOG when I can, for obvious reasons, and Galaxy is nice. Otherwise, Steam, because pretty much everything uses Steam DRM. I have Origin and UPlay, though disabled unless I start up a game that requires them.

Microsoft is the only one I do my best to avoid. There is no one in gaming that I distrust as much as Microsoft.
