I read the OP.

And that is exactly why it seemed you have other systems you could play it on, you can play plenty of games on the train with your switch besides DOOM. Nowhere you said you are only able to play on the train, because if that was the case them you purchasing a PS4 would be strange.

Not according to all. 

I game on Nintendo only systems. Over 2/3 of the games I purchase are not published by Nintendo. Over 3/4 are not developed by Nintendo.

Never said according to all.  There is a reason why I started my post with "I am."  I was referencing my opinion.  I love my Switch, but I can't pass on 60 fps 1080p for Doom on the ps4 Pro.

The Switch version also isn't up for preorder at any outlet I've checked, even overseas; Best Buy had a page up for it, but have removed it.

Though I am super keen to play it, I actually wouldn't mind a delay as I already have so many games to play in the second half of this year I won't have time for them all. I just really, really hope it doesn't get canned as it's one of my most wanted games.

They're probably prioritizing the PS4, X1 and PC versions. I'd say it will be coming, just maybe not for some time.

Well, that's something I guess, though the fact that even there it doesn't have any box art is weird.

I dunno, the whole thing just feels fishy, with even Nintendo's official site not featuring it.

I'm on the English version now, and much like the whole general situation, it's a fucking mess. The text says "coming to Nintendo Switch" and the images even include a Switch box, but when you try to preorder the only options that come up are PC, PS4, Xbox One. I even lied about my country to see if I could find a Switch preorder from another region, but nothing, anywhere.
