Forums - Gaming Discussion - IS there an exclusive AAA PC game that uses max power made from the ground up(game)

AAA PC games of multiplatform games benefit from better resolution, higher performance and sometimes even additional high quality texture packs. Add to that the freedom and versatility of the platform, using the peripheral you want, mods and more there is really no need to "entice" people to buy a PC just because some games look slightly prettier. That's not even mentioning the proprietary graphics technologies that can be used in games, like proper RT, AA and additional physics.

Even the prettiest and well optimized game on console will be massively hurt by garbage performance and the extreme restrictiveness of the platform it's on. The latter two are the main reason to prefer to play games on PC.

Making a game that leverages certain PC hardware specifically might even hurt because the more optimized a game becomes, the more restrictive it will become and that is antithetical to the whole platform.

Most of these didn't show gameplay , I'm cautious of there meta on metacritic on release date. I'm interested in fighting games and games that are good though I'm hoping no order1886 with graphics and meta score is umm somewhat I guess? can you post videos of games you own to recommend me? I  dont want arma though , I do like games like nier automata though .

Clearly PC games aren't for you in general and thus you are better off with a console. - And that is perfectly fine.
Feel free to look those games up, I am not here to do all the work for you.

games like star citizen need buzz . I haven't tried to find a video of that game because noone talks about it on youtube channels I'm subscribed , but , I do wonder why PC gets lesser buzz than anything ? which is why the only games I know are league of legends and such for PC hmmm

PC gets tons of buzz. You are just subscribed to the incorrect circles/channels/outlets, that's because you have clearly opted for outlets that adhere to your own tastes and is thus not the fault of the PC or PC demographics.

but, yeah, I don't know if Star citizen can be AAA like crysis or feel like crysis? but I guess GTFO (game on trailer) never heard of it are on PC ? heh I'm uninformed on PC which in my OP shows ^^

StarCitizen is AAA. It's a $230 million dollar game.
It is also the most crowdfunded game in history, it gets a shit ton of buzz.

Isn't it mainly because the graphics department has hit the wall of diminishing retruns really hard (and as someone said, having a lower spec req means more people can buy it)?

Would be better that the PC space focused on improved AI (or other stuff that would actuall mean the game becomes better) with the advantage of raw CPU-power a PC has over a console.

Consoles tend to settle for Medium settings. - PC is often a few runs higher which is where the bulk of it's extra capabilities gets sunk into... Into those extremely demanding, higher quality effects.
Ray Tracing for example.

Regarding ray tracing it's an interesting thing that has the potential to actually be used in some forms of gameplay (like the lighting engine did with Doom 3). But right now it kind of sucks for real time graphics (see the Quake 2 demo that only runs acceptable with full ray tracing becuase of the really low poly count).

Try Sandstorm Insurgency.

There are several reasons.

There used to be tons and tons of (at least decent) PC exclusives, but the trend is going multiplatform to get most of the money. Because of that there is no real reason to invest that much money into graphics as consoles are limited so only PC players would profit from that.
However for publishers of AAA games, PC sales are almost irrelevant. They get most of their money from console sales and DLC/microtransactions from these platforms. So there's no incentive of trying to create a game with amazing graphics that consoles couldn't achieve just to get 100k more sales on PC.

Also consoles and PC used to be worlds apart, even the low spec PCs. There were tons of games that were literally impossible to port to consoles. Not without dumbing them down completely. Consoles have quickly closed that gap though "recently".

Crysis might be another reason. It sold well, but not good enough for other companies to focus their efforts on graphics alone. In the end, and you can easily see that with data from Steam surveys. The majority of PC gamers don't have an extremely powerful rig that could run games in super ultra high settings 8k 120 FPS whatever. The userbase just isn't there.

When PC modders add mods and ultra retextures to multiplatform games:

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Arma3, Total War Series.

Thats pretty much it. Unfortunate what happened to the PC as a gaming platform. It has become a console substitute.

Hunting Season is done...

Yes when talking exclusives that really go for the max setting on PC, that is a very small subset. Probably few games would be able to recoup the investment when focusing such a small subset of the market.

Not strange that most only know about Star Citizen, and it have kept being the only know for several years without releasing or other being know.

I'd say it's the other way around...PC gets almost everything consoles get (apart platform exclusives, and even that with MS is not true anymore) and there are crapload of games (and to extent whole genres) that are not on consoles.
