1. No I haven't. You just padded out your reply.
2. No they won't. A certain percentage of that money will be lost permanently as the impulse buys of the Holiday and new Switch owners of that season will have moved onto other games. And, no, being an evergreen doesn't inoculate a game from players moving on as the long legs of those titles largely come from new console buyers.
3. I pointed out that your logic was wrong based on their being no other competition. Refuting your premise does not constitute a contradiction on my part. Additionally, Wild World had already sold about 5x as much as the original Gamecube game. It was already much more successful as a handheld title than a console release.

1 - Keep telling yourself that.
2 - History of these titles has said otherwise as they've gone on to sell their usual amount regardless of release date and no the legs of a game come from both people who own the platform and get the game down the line and new buyers. AC has never been a massive first week seller compared to many other titles hence why holiday period is not really that vital to how much it's going to sell lt it's always been a game people would eventually buy.
3 - You didn't point out anything you just made an excuse you earlier claimed competition with Pokemon wouldn't be an issue then turn around and say Wii Music was an issue on Wii that's a contradiction AC on GCN was the first game to release in the west and became the 6th best selling title on the platform considering DS sold 155m to GC's 22m one would expect AC a new franchise to most people to sell more this still doesn't explain how NL still outsold the games that released in the holiday period as under your logic it shouldn't have.
