I know this isn't what you're asking, but dude! You are going backpacking across Europe! I say leave the PSP at home. Even if it's just for the planes, and busses, I'd be excited just looking out of the window and talking with my friends. Enjoy the vacation. Savor the atmosphere, and the sights. That PSP and it's games are going to look exactly the same, no matter where you play it. Don't go to Europe, and miss out on what sounds like an awesome experience.

 This isn't my first time going, but i get what you are saying and i agree.  The problem is there are long stretches of time when i will be alone and there will be nothing to see,  9 hour flight to rome,  train rides between major cities often go through farmland that just is not interesting.  Last time i was in Rome i did not sleep foir 3 days hehe.  For example the Coliseum looks awesome at night.

 I don't know, but there have been some problems in Warhawk about that, so it is best not to do it

To get it, you have to use the PSP store on the PC, and the DLC is overpriced

If you want to save money, WipEout Pure (the original) has very similar gameplay (with Pulse's being a bit improved) and had free DLC (though I'm not sure if that is still downloadable) and you can download the full game from the PC store for PSP

Take an SRPG like FF Tactics, Jeanne D'Arc or Disgaea.

MGS Portable ops is also good, you can recruit people at hotspots :)

I see what you're saying. I don't have a PSP, but Final Fantasy Tactics was awesome, back in 1998. If you're into strategy games, I say it's all you'll need. Also, grab "Walk Hard" on UMD. It's silly fun.

The game that was awesome in 1998 is still awesome and now it's portable and with really well done artistic cut scenes.
