Forums - Gaming Discussion - Anyone else find "bad frame pacing" totally unnoticeable?

I can see when a game's framerate drops by multiple fps, like if a 30fps game falls to 27fps it's very perceptible, and the difference between 30 and 60 is night and day to me, but the 1fps variances of frame pacing are just too small for me to detect I guess.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

I have noticed it before, I didn't have a term for it before I heard about it on Digital Foundry though. Some games that I noticed it in immediately were FFXV, the Spyro remakes and Kingdom Hearts 3. I can get used to it of course but if a game has to be at 30fps, I'd really prefer it to be the best 30fps possible.
