Damn, making me feel small. I spent hours on that, we'll a good chunk of it being passive attempts but still, many deaths. Many tries.

Well that puts me at ease on how hard the Owl must be. You kept saying the Owl, and Demon of Hatred were utter BS. But I had Genchuro figured out after about ten or so fights. He always counters after your second attack or not at all. His last swipe on his big combo can always be dodged, and then countered for free damage. When you heal he shoots his bow at you, but you can dodge that and counter for free damage too. Keep slashing and keep him in a corner so he tries to use his bow and gets hit. Catch his thrust attack after he slams down, before the first deathblow. After first deathblow, jump after each slamdown and get ready for a sweep. After that all he really has is his triple shot bow attack, which can be deflected pretty easily.

His storm form is a pushover. Just keep countering the thrust, and get ready to leap at a second's notice to avoid the sweep, or lightning attacks. Storm form keeps trying to use the bow as well, and that's just more free damage.

Best fight Genichiro? Hmm, he's a definite contender. I really enjoyed the Lady Butterfly fight given that it was the boss I spent the most time on probably (as I really wanted to beat her with two gourds, but oh well). It's hard to say; there were a couple bosses that took around that same amount of time.

Come to think of it, there really weren't all too many unique bosses, as you fight a few of them multiple times. As a character, I really liked the Guardian Ape, and how damn persistent he was about not dying.

Turns out Isshin Ashina is a bitch and a half (Not sure if I'm glitching or if he's hitbox porn for NPCs) because for some reason I just can't hit him. He does this dance move and it doesn't matter what I do my attacks go right through him! sucks, and I thought this fight would be easier.

Emma's pretty tough, too.

One of the issues I have is using the PS4 controller. After playing this game for a good bit of time, I find the PS4 controller with how much you have to push in on the bumpers causes me to miss deflections more than I probably would if I was using the Xbox controller. I am really thinking about trading the game back in for the Xbox version.

I honestly felt like it was going to take me forever. I was getting good enough to get to the second form relatively unscathed, but just couldn't get any kind of groove for the second form.  Then it just clicked and I mikiri'd the shit out of him every time he did his jump thrust (which was quite often) and otherwise kept enough distance between us to make the lightning less of an issue.

9.5/10 from PlayGround.ru

""The final line of the text on the gates of hell from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy “Leave hope, everyone entering here” very succinctly describes what awaits the brave man who decided to conquer Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This is a merciless game that craves blood and causes physical pain. You will suffer, you will curse yourself, the game and its developers, but you will not be able to stop playing it, it will become an obsession. But how much it takes, it pays as much for the next victory. If you are ready to commit self-torture, you will not once experience a feeling close to catharsis or nirvana once again plunging the blade into the defeated boss, the fight with which at first seemed impossible.""

I heard this game sold over 2 million copies already...

Good to hear it's selling well. I've actually been playing more of The Surge lately as Sekiro got me interested in the genre again. I'm more than halfway through the game and it's nowhere near as good as Sekiro, but I'm finding it fun. I've heard that it's sold rather poorly, but hopefully the devs made out at least a little bit considering they managed to get a deal with Sony for April PSN.

A lot of passive fights while watching YouTube and Netflix, hard to say how much of my time it took and I never said The demon of hatred was hard, he is easy it is the terrain that is the part of the fight that caused me frustration. Also, it is the Owl in Hirrata and not the first Owl. Let me know how it goes with him, give us an update, where ya at now?

Well I spoke too soon about the Guardian Ape boss. His 2nd form took me a while. I went back and scoured all the areas for missables, plus beat the Snakes Eyes bosses, and explored new areas. I think I got to play 10 hours in the past week. Still farming enough gold and XP to move my Shinobi skill tree to the max, and buy extra upgrades/seeds.

Where the heck is the 2nd half of the mask, because the game's difficulty is ramping up and I could really use that attack boost!

Edit: Oh, and fuck my job for making me do so much overtime. Looking for another job asap. I want 40 hours a week not 56 damn it!
